Luan Durmishi is indeed a remarkable figure in the music scene, with a distinguished career that includes extensive education and professional accomplishments. He holds degrees in tenor (opera) from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo, and further specialized as a vocal coach in the USA. Currently, he serves as a lecturer in the Department of Vocal Performance at the Faculty of Modern Music at UBT in Prishtina.
Since 2003, Luan Durmishi has been a soloist with the professional Choir of the Kosovo Philharmonic. His artistic journey spans over two decades, marked by collaborations with numerous local and international musicians, composers, conductors, and artists across various disciplines. He has performed as a soloist and participated in symphony orchestras in multiple countries including Kosovo, Albania, USA, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, UK, Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Luan Durmishi is not only a performer but also a founder, having established the “Rexho Mulliqi” professional Orchestra in Prishtina, where he served as manager and general director for a decade. His latest musical project, “Uniform,” explores a blend of industrial alternative pop with elements of electronic and classical music, showcasing his versatility and innovative spirit.
Recently, Luan Durmishi gained attention for his song “Perseritja,” which was featured at the 62nd song festival on Albanian Radio and Television in Tirana, earning him a growing fanbase worldwide. His contributions to music, both as a performer and a creative force, continue to resonate across borders, reflecting his deep commitment to artistic expression and collaboration
