When we work in a play or a movie, it is our duty to be as real as possible not only with our partner on stage\/screen but also with the objects that the script tells us to use, for example: an envelope sent by a loved one, flowers, a pen, etc., and these objects or entities the actor must make their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our lives, we accept gifts that are not of great monetary value but are meaningful to us. For example, an envelope or a letter sent by someone dear to your heart has much more value than other materialistic things in your life, and this is a virtue recommended for every actor to perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXERCISE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 10-15 minutes a day, take a piece of paper, a pen, or any object and create a story with that object. The substitution technique is encouraged (a topic we will discuss in the future). But if you are not familiar with this technique, take an object and start using your imagination to create a story related to that object (wedding gift, first meeting gift, a letter from a sibling, etc.) and allow your body and mind to explore and welcome any emotion that arises from this exercise. WRITE DOWN in a notebook all the feelings and emotions you manifest. It is recommended that this exercise be done once a day so that emotional connections with objects become more familiar for your future roles.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
