Among the most important things when performing on stage is the setting. The setting isn’t just an idea of where the tables and chairs are placed by the author, but it should have a special significance for you as an actor. Each of us has a place that holds a special meaning for us and evokes emotions that never fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we have a performance and the setting is in our home (according to the author’s description, for example), we must evoke the emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exercise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spend a few minutes in a studio room or any room you have available and try to replace that room with another room that has happened to you in your life that’s worth remembering, and try to transfer those emotions to the place where you are. This will make it easier to imaginatively transition onto the stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
